Chiranjeevi, S.S. Rajamouli, and Nagarjuna recently promoted Aamir Khan’s “Laal Singh Chaddha,” and celebrities from the Tamil cinema industry also lavished praise on the movie.

A similar sense of camaraderie can be seen in the “Brahmastra” promotional campaign, which is being run by two social media savvy individuals: co-producer Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt, who just received positive reviews for her role in “Darlings.”

Ranbir Kapoor, the movie’s protagonist, was joined by Rajamouli and Nagarjuna, who is making his Hindi film cameo with the project, to promote it in Chennai. Now Jr. NTR, who Karan Johar recently referred to as a “man of the masses” in a tweet, will join the cast of “Brahmastra” for the Hyderabad publicity campaign scheduled for September 2.

Along with making the announcement, Johar also released a video that blends stills from the movie starring Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor with action sequences from Jr. NTR’s “RRR.”

Brahmastra filmmaker Ayan Mukerji said on Instagram about the occasion in Hyderabad: “For Brahmastra, NTR Throughout the course of this film, there have been some highly notable characters and achievers whose kindness toward us has left me speechless. NTR will now shine bright as he always does during the largest celebration for our movie in Hyderabad, adding another star to the sky of Brahmastra!”

All eyes are currently focused on what happens at Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderabad, on September 2, even as industry observers question when Bollywood will recover from a particularly challenging year.
