Ray is a collection of short stories of famous filmmaker Satyajit Ray. This 4 episode anthology by Netflix, features an ensemble cast including Manoj Bajpayee, Ali Fazal, Harshvardhan Kapoor, and Kay Kay Menon among others. The story takes you on a ride that’s full of twists and emotions.

2. Dhoop Ki Deewar – Zee5

Dhoop ki Deewar is a Pakistani show, that set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak conflict. It stars Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Ali and Manzar Sehnai. Dhoop Ki Deewar brings two children of martyred soldiers together in unusual circumstances. The two find themselves caught in social media conflict, however, they gradually develop bond based on their loss and suffering. Soon they fall for each other which doesn’t go down well with the families.

3. Thaen – SonyLiv

Thaen is based on true events. The plot is about a beekeeper who is living a happily married life until his wife and contracting a rare disease that can end her life. He tries to fight the system to help his wife get treated but a lack of identity proof makes it difficult for him to get any help. The movie sheds light on how the underprivileged fall prey to the deep-rooted corruption in the country.

4.Skater Girl- Netflix

Skater girl is a first of its type. It is set in the village of Rajasthan based on the story of a village girl who wants to skateboard. It is the first-ever Indian film on skateboarding. It is streaming on Netflix now.

5. The Mysterious Benedict Society – Disney + Hotstar

The mysterious Benedict society revolves around gifted orphans who have unique skills. These children are recruited by a benefactor who sends them on a dangerous mission to a boarding institute. You can watch this series on Disney Plus Hotstar
